We found out about you all the way back in June....the very beginning of June....49 days ago to be exact! Well we finally get to see the doctor and have an ultrasound on Wednesday...51 days after finding out about you! I can't wait to see you for the first time, and I know your daddy is excited too! I think we will both breath a little easier after this appointment. 51 days is a LONG time for a couple of first timers to wait! ;) Now I just have to make it through the next 2 days without going insane or making your daddy that way... not an easy task!
You have kept me on my knees a lot lately...Daddy has even come home to find a pillow in front of the toilet a couple times. ;) I don't mind too much, as it helps me to know that you are there and that hopefully things are going well inside me.

Passing Time
Since we've found out about you, we've "celebrated" Daddy's first Father's Day and took a trip to Indy to spend a little time together. We celebrated Father's Day by going to a baseball game with with Daddy's family and then we had dinner and told my family about you! Grandpa Bob was a little shocked and so happy!
In Indy, we did some shopping, went to the zoo, and acted like kids at Dave and Buster's! Here you are at your first trip to the zoo!
This is your big brother, Munch. He has been our baby since we got him. He doesn't really know what is happening yet, but I know him well enough to know that he would be less than excited if he knew about you! I hope eventually he will love you as much as we do!
Mommy Update: 8 Weeks Pregnant:
Feeling: Pretty good most of the time. I've had some morning sickness and queasiness, but luckily for me it is mostly in the morning! I'm not as tired as I was in the very beginning, but I also am getting LOTS of sleep! :D
Cravings: None that are overwhelming. I've really enjoyed watermelon and sour candy though!
Weight: Mostly nothing. My weight has been bouncing back and forth between 220 and 225, but I am definitely starting to round out already! Daddy says that I look 5 months pregnant already! I'm mostly ok with it! ;)

Finding Out and Telling Daddy
Wow, where to start.... we found out about you more than 3 weeks ago. It was the day after your Daddy's 32nd birthday and what a surprise you were for him!
I found out that I was carrying you right before I left for a zumba class and Daddy wasn't home. After laughing and crying tears of joy (a first for me) I decided to go to zumba anyway. I worried about shaking you out so much at that class! :) On the way home, I stopped and bought Daddy his first Father's Day card and a few more pregnancy tests. I took two more tests when I got home and put one of them into the card for Daddy. I told Daddy that I even though it was past his birthday, that I had something that I just had to give him. I gave him the card (it was a little bulky with the test inside) and watched as he read it. It was great to see the look on Daddy's face as he found out about you! He was shocked at first and even exclaimed "I thought it was a sucker!" after a few moments! We spent the rest of the evening thinking about you and our new family of three.
